The Government has decided on two treatments Compulsory for Export Shipment.

1. ISPM-15 Heat Treatment (License no. IN – 469 HT)

2. ISPM-15 Fumigation Treatment (License no. IN - 679 MB)

If you are looking to export wooden materials that have been treated with Heat Treatment.

We provide a Heat-Treatment Certificate and Stamp.

This certification will ensure that the product has been treated in a particular manner, making it less susceptible to damage, and the stamp will show that your wooden materials has been Heat Treated.

The Wooden Packaging material must be treated before shipment by carrying out, without stamp and certificate you can’t Export Your Shipment.

ISPM 15 stands for the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No.15, These are rules and regulation that were created to stop the spread of disease and pests by using wood packaging materials for international commerce.

If you are exporting then as per Government norms Fumigation with stamp & valid certificate is compulsory and also require for Container Fumigation.

Australia accepts solid wooden packaging that is compliant with ISPM-15 but also offers alternative treatment options and will accept consignments of wooden packaging that can meet the alternative requirements outlined in BICON, but they are allowing Heat-Treatment wooden pallets or any other wooden products.

What is Heat Treatment Process?
The Heat Treatment process includes putting wooden pallets/crates/boxes in a special chamber where they are heated until the core reaches a temperature of 132.8 Fahrenheit (56 Celsius). It must stay at this temperature around 90 to 150 minutes before cooling down. After this heating process, that moisture comes down by 18 to 22 % depending on weather conditions.
